'Just The One'............!!

The Phlox flowers are amazing.....this seems to be the way they open....
just the one bloom fully opened but all the rest not far behind....
they are the most perfect white....!
They have been at the 'bud stage' now for a couple of weeks but the hot sunshine altho' intermittent has encouraged them to open....
now all they need is lots more SUN.....
It was an odd day weatherwise....this morning it looked like it was going to be a lovely day...but the fierce heavy showers arrived again with the hot sunshine in between...
The day didn't go as I expected either ....mu Mum- in-Law and brother-in-law didn't come for dinner but my friend arrived unexpectedly ....
she had been helping her brother move to his new house in Sligo town.....
he's to be ordained Bishop of Elphin next Sunday...!!
