Foundry Bistro

We took a friend for brunch today in an old foundry building. These interesting pieces of machinery still remain in the ceiling and I thought they might be worth a blip.

I am going to work this week with my f1.4 50 mm prime lens and see if I can learn a thing or two. I can already see that it may prove to be an interesting exercise.

My blue heron hit the spotlight yesterday and remained there for about 18 hours. I am not sure why or how that happened, but I am very grateful for the favs and stars that must have put it there. This was a first for me and it had me feeling rather chuffed.
