Mono Monday ~ Roads.

My home is on the corner of three short, quiet, village roads. One of the roads has a laneway branching off it, leading down to a farmhouse.

The laneway runs beside our house, and it is from the top of the laneway, looking toward one of the roads, that I have taken my photo for today's Mono Monday challenge.

I chose this particular spot as the laneway (in the foreground) is under the shade of a few trees, and the road can be seen clearly ahead, in the sunlight, adding contrast to the mono tones.

Mono Monday is now hosted by Gingernan, so I would like to say a big thank you to her for taking on the job for the month of July. Every Monday, the list of participants is getting longer and longer, which isn't surprising. The challenge of coming up with a themed black and white photo is great fun! :)
