Walking to work this morning I met the priest from the Catholic church in town beginning to take down the yellow bunting from Le Tour.....

He commented on how the event had been a real community event and had been a real blessing to the city.

I have to agree.

It will be sad to see the flags, bikes and other celebration 'stuff' begin to disappear.

We know how to put on a party.
