Becky from Dounby

Becky and her calf were more than happy to pose for a photoshoot as we cycled past this morning enroute for Dounby.

With another day of blue skies and gentle breezes, cycling on quiet roads devoid of even one pothole, is such a joy after the congested roads around Edinburgh.
We tootled along early this morning, stopping to talk to cows, skirting young oyster catchers straying into the road and enjoying a coffee at Smith's hotel in the centre of Dounby.

Living by the maxim ' sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof', we decided to leave the next village of Twatt, further along the road, for another outing. We can have fun with that name !
