DPP

I have to admit, I'd put these discs that came with my DSLR on the bottom shelf of the desk, assuming based on past experience that the manufacturer's own software wouldn't be very useful.

I rediscovered them the other day, and decided to have a look at Canon's own software just to see what it's like. Turns out that Digital Photo Professional (often shortened to DPP) is not bad at all. It's fairly basic, and I've already got other tools that do most of what it does, but I'm impressed. The layout's good, and it's pretty fast at processing photos. I uninstalled the other software, though.

I'll have a look at the tutorial DVD later.
