A very British scene transported to the Ardeche

A couple of ex-colleagues dropped by today en route to a school trip tracing Hannibal's route over the Alps. Good to catch up with the news and gossip of the old school.
A barbecue was planned so a barbecue is what we did. The weather was not kind but we still went ahead courtesy of several umbrellas. The good news is another day without having to water the garden!
