The Tour de France (sadly minus Mark Cavendish) whizzing past Blackfriars this afternoon. We were out of office to have a meeting and stopped off at a likely spot. The crowd swelled and broke ranks to line the road below despite the efforts of the stewards to keep them away - which didn't do any harm and made for a good noise as they were cheered through.

If Carlsberg organised meetings...
