Severe sprain

A dainty boot and now an elegant stocking to make sure I am keeping up with the latest fashion trend of the over 80's.

It transpires that the MD who was so confident that my leg was strong enough to walk on was smoking his socks. Fortunately it hasn't resulted in a re-fracture but a severe sprain has been the cause of the major gyp that I have had in my ankle for the last couple of weeks.

Now, for the next 6 to 8 weeks I will be sporting ever reducing sizes of these gorgeous fashion accessories.

I am just extremely grateful that it is not summer. See, there is always an up side!
