Hawkshead

Beautiful evening as we drop R and her friend off in Hawkshead for a 2 night Biology field trip. Whilst she claimed she didn't want to go she looked happy enough to be there with all her friends.

We had enough time for a mooch around the village looking for a blip. Its fantastic views and idyllic setting make it at least understandable why so many of the houses here are holiday homes. This of course has a detrimental effect on the local community facilities, but its beauty is indisputable
