Cousins
We spent another great day with our Canadian cousins.
We started early with a trip to the gym and pool at Glenogle first thing. N trained on the rowing machine in readiness for his trip to Henley next week, where he will be taking part in the veterans' regatta. Meanwhile D and I took to the pool to swim lengths. Then we popped out for a spot of shopping followed by an ascent of Arthur's Seat.
In the afternoon we wandered around town hunting for Dunoon mugs and books, then stopped off at the Witchery for an early supper. On the way home again we called into the Dome for drinks.
Back at the house we settled down on the sofa to watch an old episode of Friday night dinner, a new discovery for the cousins.
Mr hazelh took today's blip on the summit of Arthur's Seat. I was careful to position myself on a rock so that my head is level with that of cousin N, who is 6'4", i.e. almost a foot taller than me.
Exercise today: 34 lengths at Glenogle pool, stomp up Arthur's Seat, lots of walking around town.
