Calke Croc

What a fantastic day we had at Calke Abbey. A stately home with a difference. Taken over by the national trust in the 1980s thousands of collectibles were left as they were found. Consequently the rooms are filled with items - some hundreds of years old, others mere decades. Highlights were the horse carriages and traps including a goat pulled pram; and the study with collected 18th century cartoons pasted on the walls.
