Pallet palace
Another humid day in Utrecht, where even pallet merchants have dinky sheds.
I went into the centre of town for my tea and had good beer and a mediocre chinese meal. I'm learning to use my OV-Chip card (the dutch equivalent of London's Oyster) and to navigate the public transport network.
On the way back, I was sitting behind a guy who had clearly had too much of something or other. He started giving loud abuse to two old biddies sitting across the aisle. They were having none of it, and gave as good as they got - quite unperturbed.
Of course, given the dutchness of the local lingo, I can only conject about what was said.
