Bristol

Back to Bristol for the weekend. Today we mostly soaked up the atmosphere. We had lunch sitting outside Arnolfini (gorgeous food, but very windy!) then walked along to Broad Quay. Orla attempted to paddle in the fountains but fell over and got soaked. We headed up to the grassy area outside the cathedral and ran around there for a bit to dry her off. Then we went back to the flat, collected a towel and changes of clothes and went to Millenium Square to paddle in the fountains there. After initially saying that she hated paddling and didn't want to go in the fountains, we had difficulty dragging Orla away. We went back to the flat for dinner then had an evening stroll along the riverside to the Pump House, where we sat outside in the evening sunshine and had a drink. Orla did some very good drawings while we were there.
