Poor Michele Scarponi

Not only did he have to endure a 155km race from Cambridge to London but having swept past at the back of the peloton these spectators appear to be waiting for someone else. Poor guy.

Enjoyable day up in London for Stage Three of the Tour de France. I watched on the Embankment, having decided that the Mall was going to be too busy - already 5 deep when I checked it out over four hours before the finish. It did mean that it was blink and miss 'em time. I did get some reasonable shots, mostly about atmosphere though.
