Just Passing

Up early to catch the train to London King's Cross. Then a long wait at Northallerton because the train was over half an hour late. By the tome we arrived at King's Cross it was over 50 minutes late but we discovered that East Coast give a refund if the train is over half an hour late, so no to worry. After checking in at the Covent Garden travelodge we met up with the rest of the party and had a bite to eat.

Then on to Somerset House, where there is a wonderful staircase but the security guard wouldn't allow us to go to the top to photograph the best view! Then we went to Tate Britain where there is a lovely new staircase and no problems with security guards.

Next we were taken to Shoreditch where there is a lot of new graffiti and then dinner before returning to the Travelodge and bed - once I have uploaded my blip of a young lady with the graffiti.
