Here comes the sun

As I've said previously, we've had a wonderful June in Akureyri where I live. People in the Southern part of Iceland have not been so lucky, as they've had a lot of rain this Summer. But today the sun shone here in Keflavík when we finished moving my mother's things between apartments. We were inside of course, but I felt happy for all the people who have been waiting for the sun to arrive. Around dinnertime my husband drove to Reykjavík to attend a concert with Neil Young, but I stayed in Keflavík and went to a Thai restaurant and had a nice soup. That's where this photo is taken. My mother was tired and needed a rest so she just ate some leftovers at home. In the evening I visited a friend and that was very nice.
