KOOKA ON A TREE...

.... and enjoying the sun!

Made a quick dash to my favourite Nepean River late afternoon before the wonderful sun of the day disappeared. Out of the car and heard a kookaburra singing, looked up and there they were two of them.
Thought this one all fluffed up and doing it's "daily" showed you their colours and powerful beak best!!

Further down by the weir, found this dog having a grand time, chasing a stick thrown in by it's owner.
