Wellington

While the family was enjoying a sleep-in in-room movie I went for a coffee and breakie followed by a walk through the CBD. There are some superbly restored old buildings.

Later in the day there was the obligatory Te Papa museum which I hadn't been to for many years and I hope I won't have to go back to for many more.

But on the positive it was a cracking day and we had a stroll and cycle around the waterfront in the sun and generally enjoyed absorbing our capital city.
