Aikerness Slipway

Went round to check out for groatie buckies at the slipway (after recent reported finds).

We then cycled up to visit friends at Galaha. On arrival I asked K if she wouldn't mind rustling me up a G and T. And she did. We then idled time away with a bit of light banter. Back on the bikes and after only 1.5 miles we stopped in the village to see Onnie and Peggy for tea and biscuits. I think I need to advise Le Tour about where they are going wrong. (You never see the peleton drinking from bone china cups). Back on the bikes and enroute to Houton (to buy CMC a book of ferry tickets) we stopped to speak to friends at the Orkneyinga Saga Centre.

The baby swallows and our two sheep are struggling with the heat.
