A dullish day supervising kids playing board games. They were happy enough tho' and it's good to see the old favourites, Monopoly and Risk, giving enjoyment.

This evening the blackbird was down begging for mealworms. The chicks must surely be close to making an appearance, but I was glad they didn't tonight, as the sparrowhawk appeared out of nowhere in an unsuccessful bid for her supper. Got a good view of her beautiful feathers as we were sat eating our tea.
