Sheep in Marlborough town centre.

This flock of sheep reside next to the Waitrose car park. It is quite unusual to see as you are walking by....

We got chatting to a couple with a lovely Labrador- they were throwing a ball into the mill pond and the dog was leaping in to retrieve it. Usually there are a couple of swans in this area, but they were saying that they wouldn't let their dog go into the water when the swans were there. I thought this seemed sensible as swans can be very territorial- but they were saying that the swans would actively try to drown a dog by pushing its head underwater to prevent it from resurfacing.
