Nessie's Birthday

One of the ladies who plays bridge has a birthday tomorrow, so I have made her a chocolate treacle cake (she can forget her diet for one day!).
Had a senior moment today - ladies came to lunch and we had a rather rich chocolate mousse. They were saying how rich it was and I forgot to give them the usual cake with their coffee. Found it sitting on top of the microwave after they had left. I know them well enough for them to have reminded me, so maybe they were feeling full anyway. It is now in the freezer and they can have it next week.
