Advantage kittiwakes

I was down to Gateshead today for a workshop, which was much more interesting than the usual fare. We were all so splendidly grumpy that Chatham House rules had to be invoked.

On my way back to the station I noticed that although the old Guildhall on the Quayside seemed to have deployed some sort of anti-kittiwake measure on most of its ledges this year , a couple of them were evidently missed!
