Sports Day

It was the school sports day today. I was asked again to take photographs of the events - both sporting and fun (like the barbecue, the queue for the ice cream van, the students in the stocks having wet sponges thrown at them, etc etc). I now have to sort through the 700+ photographs and give a set to the PE department.

After a quick look through them tonight, I am quite pleased with the results. I seem to have improved my panning and focussing techniques to capture moving subjects (including the long jumpers coming straight at the camera!)
