Forth Rail Bridge and South Queensferry

The Spokes Ride on Sunday went to Aberdour for a picnic lunch on the beach. I did say that the morning would be dry, but to expect showers in the afternoon. I wasn't expecting the first, and rather heavy shower, to start dead after twelve. All was not lost. I guided the riders to the beach café for lunch.

In fact the afternoon ride home was equally nice and sunny. This was photo, view large, was taken from the Forth Road Bridge on the way back. It wasn't a particularly fast ride either, but we still got back to Cramond quite early, so we decamped to the Cramond Brig Inn for some afternoon refreshment before heading home.
