Our favourite ride

There is one place we love to cycle to on Lanzarote island, renowned for its activity and its moods: Famara Bay. The occasional fisherman drops a line off the harbour, the locals are out seeking shellfish (look closer) along the shore line and in the rock pools, and the young crowd are out surfing (body, board and kite). There are plenty of cafes to soak up the atmosphere but we were the only ones on this grey morning.
