Nymans

I delivered my quilt to a freight company in Sussex and we took the opportunity to visit Nymans, the home of the Messel family. The house was largely burnt down in 1949 but the stunning and extensive garden remains. The Messels were/are a family distinguished in many areas of artistic, financial and scientific endeavour. Anthony Armstrong-Jones is a great-grandson of the UK founder through his mother, Anne.
