Cross lines!
Its now over a month since I have been having words with worse than useless Talktalk! The first call this morning wast to Culmar in deepest Bangalore who assured me the fault was a drop in connection(I already knew that!) He then said he needed to do one more test & that I should hang up & phone back in 15 minutes. (I now realise that is talk talk speak for feckoff As the second call this time to Raj in darkest Delih who told me that Culmar didn't do the "final test" all he wanted was an irate wee gnome from Scotland off his case!
The second useles customer advisor said I had to do something to the box in the wall so they could "monitor" the line, probably Rajspeak for go to Hell mad Scottish dwarf!
So I am no further forward though I have taken to airing Talktalks dirty linen over twitter & they sent me an email with some bloody reference number. I replied that I did not want a reference number, I wanted this problem resolved! They have till next week & if it's not sorted then it will definatley be Walk walk!
I have reached the conclusion that while the internet may be a good tool, when things go pear shaped, big companies can also hide behind it by making it almost impossible to speak to them or communicate in any shape or form. I don't have an answer to this ...yet! but I am working on it!
Brilliant day here today & above colours are as they came out the camera. Amazing
*Update since going on twitter & complaining publicly, I am now getting Direct messages from talk talk reps with at least European sounding names & some dialogue going!! The power of social media, Im still not happy with their crappy service! Watch this space
