Lamorna

Today we went exploring.....first a visit to Mousehole which is very pretty. I took a lovely shot of it and was going to use it as my blip.

Then we went to another wee cove. About 22 years ago I visited a tiny wee cove somewhere in Cornwall and every year when we are out and about down here I have tried to find it....to no avail.

This is a shot of L and Nellie in Lamorna.....which turns out to be the wee cove in question!! I was absolutely delighted to have found it and to reminisce about the old Cornishman we chatted to there. However I am very disappointed at how cpmmercialised it is now. The café and it's "terrace" have changed the feeling of the place....but things move on and at least I know where it was now!! Nice to show it to Nellie and L.

Back to Sennen cove for a "swim" in the huge waves. Not quite a swim....more of a leap! Then a bask in the sun and a trip to the beach bar for some Pimms.

Another perfect day! Aaaah....contented sigh!
