The lady hummer is back...

...slurping up the sugar water at the Back Yard Bistro. Although I waited and waited, the male didn't appear; however, there was a bossy blue jay around today. As I sat on the patio bench blipping birds at the Bistro, he was perched on a tree branch above me, screeching demands that I go back in the house so he could come down and get his share of the food. Sure enough, when I put him to the test, within two minutes he left the safety of his branch and flew down to the Bistro.
