Chamber of Secrets

You were introduced yesterday to the concept of the Room of Requirements, though I didn't photograph it as it was too full of dust to make that sensible. This afternoon the Chamber of Secrets (directly above the Room of Req) passed muster for photography so here it is. Tomorrow at about noon this room will be full of bed frames and mattresses, but one day in a distant future time it will be an elegant and yet cosy guest bedroom.

But it will always be known as the Chamber of Secrets to us.

Our movers have called and, despite Channel Tunnel delays, they should be here tomorrow morning. We are as prepared as we can be...

Busyness with the house today precluded any Tour de France watching, so I missed the 'excitement' of Chris Froome going out. And after last night's prediction of Brazilian demise came true, I'm nervous about predicting tonight's football tie. Loyalties in the room are tied with two young hearts for Argentina (Messi) and two grown up heads for Netherlands. A much harder one to call than last night so I'm staying on the fence. It seems a career as a football pundit does not await me.
