Old friends, new friends

So I took baby S on his first train journey as we went through to Milngavie to see my friend Susie and her son Eric. I haven't seen her for about 6 years so it was lovely to catch up. Inevitably there was plenty of chat about babies but we did talk about other things as well, notably hill walking and general travelling. We also went on a great walk around Mugdock country park in the warm sunshine where baby S continued his recent trend of losing his socks, we are on 2 in 2 days at the moment. Eric on the other hand kept his on, clever boy

Wee S and Eric seemed to enjoy eachothers company, and its always much more interesting to play with someone else,s toys rather then your own.

You wouldn't know from this photo but Eric is actually 2 months younger than baby S, not sure if S is a slim boy or Eric is quite sturdy but they are both very healthy boys which is the most important thing.

It must have been an exhausting trip for the wee man as he slept peacefully in my arms almost all the way back to Edinburgh. So a good day all round.
