Some Like it Hot

It was hot today. We had a fire alarm this afternoon at work and it was so hot I wanted to find the shade. Usually it’s too cold, too wet or too windy when there is a fire alarm – I never thought I would say it was too hot.

Managed a quick drink with a colleague who is leaving. It was great to come home again and for tea to be almost on the table. We need a housekeeper!

Have started to think about what we need to take on holiday. Packing is such a chore. I also need to tackle an ironing pile – but I know it will all get creased again with my hopeless packing skills.
