WW1
Been downloading stuff from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website for the WW1 stand at the village fete. Very moving to think that young men from our tiny village are sadly buried or remembered in so many different cemeteries in France/Belgium/Egypt.
Got a bit distracted and downloaded some info on my grandfathers cousin who was in the Canadian forces , he doesn't have a grave, but is remembered at the Canadian memorial in Vimy.
