a bit of cheer

Em and I took the sunflowers for a walk this evening, looking for a likely spot to set up a still life to photograph. She with her compact camera and me with the usual kit. She loves to snap away, her diminutive stature bringing a different point of view. It's really interesting to see what catches a three year old's eye, what she considers significant. Back to the sunflowers. They were a bit dry around the edges but otherwise intact. That is they were until Em started to pull petals between shots, collecting them so she could take her picture of them. Little monkey.
