Room to move (John Mayall, 1969?)
The wind and swell came down last night, enough to install the midline buoy on one of the Hermod anchor wires. It is meant to give the wire more uplift when passing over a pipeline. The buoys used for this are big, real big.
This time we had to load the buoy first and then pick up the anchor. Putting the buoy square on deck wouldn't give the anchor room to pass the anchor, so we had to find another temporarily storage for it. This appeared a nice solution, out of the way, providing a complete free workdeck.
