To live and not to know why the cranes are flying

Whenever I see or think of cranes my mind turns to Chekhov and his Three Sisters. These cranes, however, are made of paper and adorn the desk of a colleague at Manchester University - I borrowed them to photograph. I love origami too, and these are a good example.
