Mind the Gap

or secret men's business as this is Pine Gap an American base I saw from the air on my way to Alice Springs. Apparently it is full of CIA agents. We are moving on tomorrow so hopefully there will be something better to blip than this although I think the ranges it is nestled in are beautiful.

The closest to the virtual prize was Sleepyhead who picked the right area of Australia and an honorable mention to Paladian who did in one guess have the right Territory.

We saw the Ghan today which was quite a thrill. It surprised me just how many carriages it had. Also as we were going to dinner in town a dingo went past and there are people who are likely to be sleeping in the Todd River bed tonight. It is going to be -2C overnight. I hope they have plenty of wood for their fire.
