Greyfriars Bobby

Greyfriars Bobby was a Skye Terrier who became known in the 19 century for supposedly spending 14 years guarding the grave of his former owner until he died in January 1872. His resting place is in the Greyfriars Kirkyard,where his headstone stands.

The statue sits at the corner of Edinburgh's Candlemaker Row and George 1V Bridge and is a category A listed Building.
