Night shift

This Moorhens nest was
ín the rushes that are growing on the bank, due to the heavy rain over the last few days ( and nights) the water level is much too high,by nearly a metre, so the birds have raised their nest structure, must have been a Panic Action by them. There is still one egg in the nest, maybe the others, if any, got lost in the building process, or stolen by Jackdaws. Not raining now, sun out and pleasant, hope the water Level drops quickly so the nest is safe.
