Crape Myrtle
Today was a busy day, getting ready for a business trip to Nashville. There are always so many things to finish up beforehand, so that you don't feel so behind when you return. At the end of the day, with no photograph, I had to snap some shots of the neighbor's crape myrtle tree in bloom. I'm a bit disappointed, because none of today's shots came out as well as one last week. The powdery mildew that is affecting the tree made the unopened blooms look like sugar coated candy.
