An English Country Garden

A day out at Woburn Abbey was enhanced by unexpectedly dry and sunny weather. The house was lovely but the gardens were stunning - so much so that we regretted the decision to abandon our planned picnic.

All was not lost as in the village we found a wonderful seafood restaurant where we enjoyed mussels and white wine. A whizz around a fab antique shop resulted in some spur of the moment purchases with a tremendous Captains Chair for the sister's kitchen and a stunning opal ring in contemporary gold setting for me!

Woohoo... I do love being on holiday!
