Chicks

Having come through to keep M company for a few days, I found that she's not really on her own. The roof has been turned into a seagull nursery as a pair of Lesser Black Backs are raising 3 chicks. The bathroom window looks out over the kitchen roof and has essentially become a hide for the duration of my visit.

The fluff balls are incredibly cute and provide a lot of entertainment as we hear them calling for food and then sounding like a herd of elephants as they scramble back up to other parts of the roof. There will be at least one more blip of them over the coming weeks :-)
