Sitting around at #Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Wall to wall sunshine at Yorkshire Sculpture Park today and so many fab things to blip.
Yesterday YSP was named UK museum of the year, winning the £100,000 Art Fund prize with judges praising it as a "truly outstanding museum with a bold artistic vision"
The exhibits are rolled out across 500 acres of parkland with a large lake cafés and indoor exhibition spaces.
The atmosphere was good today with TV crews on site following yesterday's award and there was a special Ai Weiwei exhibition and film screening.
This photo is one of Sophie Ryder's "Lady Hare" works. It's called "Sitting" and it's a half-woman-half-hare sculpture - 18-ft tall and constructed from woven galvanised wire. I last saw Lady Hare in person back in January 2013 at Cartwright Hall, Bradford.
