Summer in the Garden

I feel I had a very unproductive day today - I sat in the garden and read which was bliss but it was with a heavy heart as my dear friend on Exmoor has learned that her cancer is at a serious level . She had not wanted to tell me but I want to be supportive so I'm glad I now know and I'm looking forward to going to see them and take lunch for them on Monday.
