An egg-citing event!

Today marked a landmark on the croft - the first goat egg of Spring. It arrived unexpectedly early, and was a little small, but Snowy (pictured here) seems to be taking very good care of it. She has had many eggs before, and, fingers crossed, in about 6 weeks a happy little kid will pop out of the shell!
