Strike Action

Today between coats of paint we went to the National Gallery to see an exhibition about colour- appropriately for us. It is really good, looking at the different pigments available over the ages,and how artists made their colours. Of course the Gallery can draw upon some fantastic pictures to illustrate the points being made in the exhibition.
As a bonus we wee able to see the demonstration called by the 4 public sector unions who had called a strike about pay, cuts to services and pensions. They have my sympathy. This woman was more than happy to have her picture taken- right outside the National Portrait Gallery.
