Feeding the ducks.

Logan threw bread for the ducks today. A goose came close and pecked his hand..
I'm not sure he'll want to do it again! It didn't leave a mark but I think the shock of it upset him!

I went to see the physio. He told me off for keeping on walking even though it was painful! The Achilles' tendon has thickened and stiffened because I was ignoring it crying out for help! He gave me an ultrasound treatment and manipulated the tendon and I have to ice it every two-three hours (!) and do the manipulation thing myself. I'm seeing him again next Tuesday for more of the same until it's calmed down enough to start gentle stretching exercises on it. Looks like walking is off for more than two weeks. I had a swim this evening. At least I can do that!!

I got on the scales this morning and I've finally broken below the 12 stone barrier! 11 stone, 13.75!! That 1/4 of a pound has to keep off! I want to be 11 1/2 by the cruise in September... Let's hope I can Nordic walk by then!! :-)
