The Last Curtain Call

Tonight was the last of the Year 6 pantomimes and after having seen ten years worth of performances, it was a strange feeling that this was going to be our last having seen so many children starting off as reception elves or spacemen to seeing them through to be confident talented performers.

It was a beautiful evening as we drove home with mixed feelings of elation tinged with a hint of sadness and I felt that this shot echoed that slightly, but I had never noticed the range of different colours in these grass seedheads before.
